John Clark
Chair
John currently serves as the Chairman of the Board and has been connected with The Peacemaker Center since its inception. He prepared the 501(c)3 non-profit status application and assisted with tax filings, budgeting and other fiscal matters throughout the early years. In 2005, he joined the Board as Treasurer. John is an attorney and a CPA. He has served as the CFO of a non-profit organization for many years and also works with various non-profits as a financial consultant. He and his wife, author Mindy Starns Clark, live in Eagleville with their two daughters and attend Fairview Village Church.

Judy Reid
Executive Director and Member
Judy has worked with the Board of Directors to lead The Peacemaker Center since its inception in 2000. Judy works from a family systems framework that includes understanding and changing patterns in one's life. She has worked with children and adults with learning disabilities and in the foster care and behavioral health systems. In addition to trauma, Judy works with couples and family relationships, people who have mood disorders and anxiety disorders and families with disruptive or addictive behaviors. Judy supervises the clinical staff and Interns which helps to maintain the high standard of clinical excellence.

Barbara Yamarick
Secretary
Barbara Yamarick is serving as the Secretary of the Board. A lifelong resident of Chester County, Barbara and her husband David attend Pine Swamp Church in Elverson where her husband, David, serves as Pastor. After earning a B.S. in Behavioral Science from York College of PA, Barbara's professional career in real estate spanned over 30 years in various executive positions. She retired in 2003 from Brandywine Realty Trust as the Senior Vice President of Tenant Services.

Scott Edwards
Director of Operations and Member
Scott joined The Peacemaker Center staff in 2006. Currently, he is the Director of Operations while continuing to see clients in the Kennett Square and Downingtown offices. Scott has a wide variety of experience serving as a helping professional over the past 25 years. He has held positions in church ministries and community agencies including Bereavement Counselor, Pastoral Counselor, Assistant, Associate, and Senior Pastor and as a Clinical Supervisor in Hospice. He adheres to an eclectic approach with an emphasis on person centered and cognition. Scott enjoys the front row seat to seeing lives change for the better.

Dr. Thomas Whiteman
Treasurer
Tom is a psychologist who joined our board in 2019. Tom has founded more than nine companies over the past 20 years, which include Life Counseling Services, Rehab After Work, The Light Program, Magnolia Creek Treatment Center, and Legacy Collectibles. He earned his masters' degree in Counseling from West Chester University and his Ph.D. in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College. Tom is the author or co-author of thirteen books which include Victim of Love, Stress Test, Adult ADHD, Divorce Recovery, Single Parenting, Marriage Mender and Your Kids and Divorce.

Cindy Wanamaker
Member
Cindy joined the Board in 2020 after retiring as a Chief Operations & Compliance Officer for thirty years in financial services. Her own family journey propelled her into her passion for providing support to family and friends impacted by a loved one’s substance use and educating others about self-care and recovery. She chairs the Chester County’s Drug & Alcohol Advisory Council and the PA Parent Advisory Council and serves on the Board of Speak Up For Ben, Inc. which operates the Oasis Community Center. Cindy facilitated a faith-based parent support group for over ten years and meets with parents one-on-one. She is a PA Certified Family Recovery Specialist (CFRS).
