Katie is dedicated to helping clients uncover their potential, develop meaningful skills, and achieve their goals. With a background in youth ministry, first-responder healthcare, and marriage and family therapy, she brings a wealth of experience to her work. Katie has supported individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges, from navigating transitions to addressing deep crises.
Katie creates a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be authentic. She integrates contemplative and spiritual practices into therapy for those who desire it, while equally respecting clients who prefer a secular approach. Drawing from insights in biology and neuroscience, Katie helps clients better understand how their brain and body can be tools for healing and growth. She specializes in working with teenagers, couples, parents, individuals, and ministry staff.
Katie holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado Christian University. She has completed Level I and Level II training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is actively pursuing licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
